Thanks so much for your comment Laurie! I am going to try to broach the pump topic with my doctor again at my next appointment. Maybe if I explain to him more why I am interested in the pump he will be more understanding. He didn't tell me I couldn't go on one, he just didn't seem to think I needed to and sort of dismissed it. Might be something I need to push. I just think it may be easier on me and my stress levels not having to inject myself so many times. I am also holding out for the day CGMs are more readily available. My poor fingers would be rejoicing

Laurie thanks for the info. Do you know of Ut system approving anyone? I have been denied three time already. I will try again with this info just waiting for my denial letter to show up. I have had so many issue with Blue cross blue shield since i started with the state.
