wow Sarah...I just saw your comment. I'd find a new doctor if your current one won't let you get a pump. I had a very passive dr. for a long time that was afraid of technology and he refused to authorize a pump for me. I knew it would help so I switched. It and CGMS are the best things I've ever had. All doctors need to at least offer what's out there (even if they don't like it for some reason) to patients - it's part of their jobs!
I know you can search through Medtronic's website (www.minimed.com) to look up doctors. There's also a yahoo group you can join called insulin pumps. I hope it works out!
