I have been fighting with Aetna for the last six months over CGMS. Even though I meet the criteria that Aetna lays out in their policy (that would be CPB 0070 part VIII), I have been denied continuously.
So alas, I am fighting with them, currently though my HR department, since UHC was paying for it, and when my company switched from UHC to Aetna there was to be no changes in coverage. I have my complaint ready for the California Insurance Board if Aetna keeps up the denials.
I guess I don't take "no" for an answer.
UPDATE!! Well, my companies lawyers called Aetna's lawyers, and Aetna decided to avoid being sued by covering my sensors. Yea!!
